Hi there and thank you for viewing my products. My name is James and I run a small fine wood working shop (Tiny Texas WoodWorks & Machine, LLC) in Houston, Texas which also specializes in other machine development-restoration/metal fabrication. I have +40 years of experience in fine wood working (and carpentry) and also served a portion of this time as a machinist-fabrication/machinery developer. Being my first and always loved passion of woodworking, I follow seven generations of fine wood working craftsmen extending roots throughout Europe who have embraced this trade for a means of daily living (& joy) and I've had a hammer and chisel in my hand from early childhood to today. My formal education and "day profession", advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, I've worked 30 years in industrial petrochemical construction-engineering industry.

Anything wood, art, and machine (& science/advanced physics) are my passions of interest. My goal is to share my passion and a part time wood working trade with the community and bring to customers heirloom quality, crafted fine wood work products that can be passed down generations to come. I also want to provide a new experience to customers where you are part of the project with weekly communications, progress photos and discussion, and allow you to be part of the crafted project.
